Any Success Stories with IUI?

I'd love to hear stories from those that IUI has worked for you. I'm really going through a rough time, as I know many of you are as well. My husband and I have been TTC for 2 years, and been off birth control for 3 years. This past year, I have tried 3 months on chlomid, 3 months off, then tried it again for another 3 months. This month we tried a new oral drug, I believe it is called femera, but I can't remember for sure. This month along with the femera, we will be trying our first month of IUI. We are having the IUI done on Thursday this week. I am trying to remain positive, and NOT STRESS out or dwell on how badly I want it to work. So I had my ultrasound yesterday, to check the foliciles and everything looks great, Doctor is hopeful and says they are a good size. So, as I continue to try to not stress over this, last night I was hit with some news about someone in my family who is pregnant. Horrible timing for me to find out about this!!! I am really shook up over this, even though at the same time excited for them and excited for a new addition to our family.....but I wanted it to be ME that brought the next baby to love into our family world. Now the pressure is ON - and I'm trying to be hopeful that we will be able to have babies at the same time so they will be able to grow up and play together - but history has me doubting that this will work for me.

So - first IUI is Thursday - then 2 very very long weeks of waiting.......
