Day 33 of cycle - Another Negative HPT

Posted in Group:

Just as I have seen others say in posts I have read, I just don't feel comofortable talking to family, friends or co-workers about this, because then you feel obligated to discuss it every time you see them. It keeps coming up in conversations! Ugggh!!

My husband and I have been married for 3 years, off BC for 2 and seriously trying for 1 year. I took a 3 month dose of Chlomid, took 3 months off, and got a new OGBYN and he has me trying Chlomid again, and I'm now on my first month, and I thought for sure since I'm at day 33 of cycle, no period, that the chlomid worked this time, and that I was pregnant. I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative.

My husband was told after testing, that his sperm count was normal, but his mobility was 50% - they explained it to us as 50% swim in the wrong direction. Has anyone else been told this? We are going to consider IVF if the chlomid doesn't work after these 3 months, but I just was curious if his low mobility may be more of a problem than my low progesterone. Any thoughts?

My husbands results showed a low count and 30% motility. We are seeing the fertility specialist in 2 months to see what can be done. We r hoping that it doesn't have to end in ivf

Have you looked into any supplement treatments for the mobility issue? My husband's sperm was stuck together and he found that the combination of zinc, vitamin C, and selenium fixed the issue. All he did to find that was a Google search. I know it's not the same issue, but maybe worth a search, what could it hurt?

We haven't looked into that, but maybe I will. Sorry I'm just now responding, but I haven't been on this website in quite a while. I'm back now, as we are trying our first month of IUI procedure on THURSDAY this week. I'm hopeful that implanting the sperm right where it needs to go may have been our problem all along! Praying and hoping it works for us!
