HOPE IT WORKS THIS TIME!

Posted in Group:

I've finished my medroxy which induces a period now I'm waiting to start my period. I will start my clomid 100g on cycle day #3, this is my first cycle with a higher dosage of clomid so I'M REALLY HOPING TO OVULATE an then get that POSITIVE result on a pregnancy test. I'm tryin to stay positive an keep a good outlook because my last two cycles of clomid I didn't respond. So I guess we'll see....

Good luck dear...sometimes these things happen when you least expect it. The doctors told me when I was 13 that I couldn't have kids and I have 2 now. It will happen for you!!!!

Thank you very much for your kind words, my friends also tell me all the time that things will happen when I least expect them too. I want them to happen so bad but I try not to think about it to much and get to excited because of a lot of let downs I've had in the past with trying to conceive, but I do have a feeling things will be different this time!

You need to relax and take care of yourself. Stress can affect your hormones which in turn can affect your chances of fertility....taking care of yourself is the 1st step to getting pregnant!!!

Best of luck to you! Are you doing any IUI or IVF with the clomid? I used clomid for 3 months, then took 3 months off, then tried it again for 3 more months. (you shouldn't be on it for a long period of time). By the way, clomid made my periods very very very painful. One thing I just discovered which may have been most of our problem all along, is I ovulate around day 18. Seems pretty late, and I know many months we had stopped trying by that time in the month. So be sure to use ovulation sticks to pinpoint exactly when you do ovulate. If you think the clomid is not helping, there is other drugs you can try. I am trying my first month of a new drug called femera (I think that's what it is). I took it just like clomid (orally on days 3-7), then we have our FIRST IUI this Thursday. We are hopeful! I hope it works for you this time too! If so, you'll have a baby by Thanksgiving! Something exciting to think about!
